The Farm and Ranch Museum of the Concho Valley is open year-round. We are closed on New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Day and Christmas Day. We are also closed on major state holidays. We do offer seasonal extended hours daily from Memorial Day through Labor Day (8am-6pm). In the winter months, we are open from 9am to 5pm, seven days a week. Groups of 15 or more can schedule a customized tour for their group or organization. Our docent-led tours are the best way to experience our farm and ranch museum. We also offer guided tours for private groups. This is a self-guided tour. If you would like assistance with a self-guided tour, please visit our reservation desk. The Farm and Ranch Museum of the Concho Valley is located in San Angelo, Texas. The city is approximately one hour west of Amarillo, Texas and 90 minutes east of Austin, Texas. San Angelo is also 90 minutes north of Laredo, Texas, which makes it a great location for day trips. From Austin, San Angelo is the easiest route to get there, as it is only two hours west on I-35. From Laredo, travel south on I-359 to get to San Angelo. From Houston, it is an hour and fifteen minutes north on I-10, heading west. From Dallas, it is one hour south on I-35, heading east.
